Krishna Lunch Goes Green!
Image Starting April 10, Krishna Lunch will serve meals exclusively on compostable, eco-friendly dishware, crafted from sugar-cane fiber and potato starch, bio-degrade in as little as 30 days.
Starting April 10, Krishna Lunch will serve meals exclusively on compostable, eco-friendly dishware, crafted from sugar-cane fiber and potato starch, bio-degrade in as little as 30 days.

We made the switch in response to the University of Florida's push to 'go green' and many individual requests.

The new utensils must be purchased in large quantities--basically, a year's supply in advance--and as such they create an extra financial and storage burden. In addition, even when bought in bulk, they cost 2 cents more per person. Still, we think Mother Earth is worth the trouble.

If you'd like to support our efforts, feel free to make an extra donation or volunteer some time.

We appreciate such help very much, and appreciate the opportunity to serve you in the best possible way.
