A Second Serving Station
lunchcarts_101707.jpg Starting this fall, to eliminate the wait, Krishna Lunch is using two serving stations. So far, results have been encouraging.
Krishna Lunch has been providing hungry Gators with hot vegetarian meals since 1971. Sometimes the lines have been so long that you may have thought people were waiting since 1971 for their lunch!

Well, no more. Starting this fall, to eliminate the wait, Krishna Lunch is using two serving stations. So far, results have been encouraging.

The main serving station is located on the southwest corner of the Plaza of the Americas (Union and Newall). The second station is just east of there. (On rainy days, both are under the main library breezeway).

The second line is meant for serving those using Krishna Lunch cards and for those desiring second helpings. If are making a cash donation for your lunch, please go to the first line.

Since this system allows for less waiting time for second helpings, we expect to serve more karma-free food than before. To ensure everyone gets at least a first serving, there may sometimes be a limit on second helpings for certain dishes.

To us this seems a reasonable trade-off for the daily shorter lines. If you disagree, or if you like the second
line, please let us know by writing This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
